Sour Grapes Newsletter b - 1995 d - 2004: catered to writers, poets, artists, and editors alike. The tag line for this unique publication bravely stated: The newsletter for rejected writers and other tormented souls. SG started life in hardcopy form for subscribers only, but quickly turned into a webzine format when Sandy became a web designer and needed to reach a wider audience. From its inception in 1995 till its ultimate demise in 2004 Sour Grapes was the place for writers and editors to vent about rejection, writers ignoring submission format or guidelines, or the mishandling of published work, etc. Columns such as Vintage Whines (reserved for those classic tales) or Bacchus (for editors) provided an equal platform for those who wanted to share their stories or pass along valuable information. The editorials were also fun and informative. On my site you might find an occasional editorial along with some of Sheila's artwork on the portfolio page in pdf format. And of course, the SG Blog will feature an older gripe if we don't get any new ones.
However, for anyone wishing to post a gripe, please contact me, Sandy Bernstein for more info.
